1. About the Service
FindIt501 (“we,” “us”) provides an online directory that helps people discover businesses in Belize. The Service includes listings, search, maps, reviews, and optional paid memberships. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Listings are informational, not endorsements
Listings are provided for general information only. Much of the listing data is compiled from publicly available sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. A listing on FindIt501 is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of any business, nor of its products, services, licensing, or quality. Always verify details directly with the business before relying on them or making a purchase.
3. Transactions are between you and the business
FindIt501 is a directory only. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any dealing, transaction, appointment, or dispute between you and any business listed on the Service. This includes medical, legal, financial, and other professional services — you are responsible for confirming a provider’s credentials and suitability.
4. Reviews & user content
When you submit a review, rating, or other content, you agree that:
- It is based on your genuine, first-hand experience and is honest and not misleading.
- It is not false, defamatory, harassing, obscene, hateful, or unlawful.
- It does not infringe anyone’s rights or contain spam, advertising, or personal data of others.
- You will not post fake, paid, or incentivized reviews, or multiple reviews to manipulate ratings.
You retain ownership of your content but grant FindIt501 a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, store, and distribute it on the Service. We may moderate, edit, refuse, or remove any content at our discretion — including removing reviews that violate these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or harvest the directory or its data without permission.
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Misrepresent your identity or your authority to act for a business.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Business listings & memberships
Businesses may claim a free listing or subscribe to a paid membership (e.g. Premium). Membership fees, where applicable, are stated in Belize Dollars (BZD) and billed on the cycle shown at sign-up. You may cancel a membership at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period unless required by law. Free inclusion in the directory is never conditional on payment. See the Listing Data & Removal Policy for claims, corrections, and removals.
7. Intellectual property
The FindIt501 name, logo, design, and original content are owned by FindIt501. Business names, logos, and marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listing information is correct.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindIt501 and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, reliance on any listing, or dealings with any business found through the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FindIt501 from any claims or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these terms.
11. Third-party links
Listings may link to third-party websites and social media we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Changes & termination
We may update these terms or modify or discontinue the Service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend access for users who violate these terms.
13. Governing law & contact
